Lateef Adedimeji started his education at Ire Akari Primary School in Lagos before moving on to Ilamoye Grammar School for his secondary education. He received performance training at a workshop in Onikan, Lagos, and developed his writing and acting skills through involvement with a non-governmental organization. He graduated with a degree in Mass Communication from Olabisi Onabanjo University.

Career

Lateef Adedimeji started his acting career in 2007, initially focusing on dancing and receiving training in a dance school. He is both an actor and a screenwriter. While he had been involved in stage roles since the age of 15, his official entry into the acting profession occurred in 2007 when he joined Orisun TV.In 2016, Lateef Adedimeji received the Best Actor in a Lead Role (Yoruba) award at the 2016 Best of Nollywood Awards.He was also nominated for the 2015 Most Promising Actor of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards. Lateef’s striking resemblance and shared sense of humor with popular Nigerian actor Odunlade Adekola often lead to confusion and speculation about their relationship.
