Ngelale stated that the conference on Monday would highlight the significance of African-owned and driven solutions.

Heads of state, government officials, representatives of international organizations, multilateral institutions, members of the diplomatic corps, and civil society organizations will all be present at the summit, which will bring together individuals from all over Africa. stated Ngelale.

Ms. Amina Mohammed, the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, is scheduled to attend.

The UN Under-Secretary-General for Counter-Terrorism, Mr. Vladimir Voronkov, and Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, will make closing remarks at the event on Tuesday.

Nigeria is facing serious security issues at the time of the summit, chief among them being banditry and terrorism.
