Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has responded to accusations that she played a role in the breakup of her nephew Yul Edochie’s marriage to May Edochie.
It is well-known that the couple, who have been married for almost twenty years, separated after Yul impregnated a colleague and married her without May’s consent.
May filed for divorce and denied Yul access to their former home. Some reports online have accused Rita of being behind the marriage breakdown.
Rita took to her Instagram page to address the accusations, stating that she believes the information is coming from Judy Austin’s camp.
She slammed Judy for enlisting her supporters to attack her.
Rita emphasized that Yul is her son and will always be her son, just as Yul is the father of May’s children, and she would never do anything to harm him. She then proceeded to curse Judy and her accomplices.

Couple of weeks ago, Rita spoke openly about pretending to love and support May, after rumors spread that she actually had negative feelings towards her.
She dismissed these rumors as unfounded and explained that she felt the need to address them in order to protect her reputation.
In a separate post, she sent a small prayer to those who continuously blast her for publicly defending May Edochie.
