Gunmen kidnap pastor in Anambra after midnight prayer

Unknown gunmen have kidnapped the pastor in charge of All Christian Practical Praying Band, Dan Nwokolo, in Ufuma, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State, on Wednesday.

It was gathered that the gunmen invaded the residence of the pastor and abducted him shortly after he finished a midnight prayer session.

According to a family source, “the incident happened on Wednesday in front of his house as he was coming back from a prayer session. The hoodlums cornered his vehicle right in front of his compound, ordered him down and whisked him away in their vehicle and immediately zoomed off to an unknown destination.

Adding that, no contact has been established with the kidnappers.”

Effort to reach the State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Tochukwu Ikenga, was abortive.
