The founder of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (Amen), Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has announced a date for resumption of activities at the centre.
Wakadaily reported that the Enugu Catholic Diocese, Bishop Callistus Onaga, has banned Catholics worshippers from attending Rev Fr.Ejike Mbaka, Adoration Ministry programme on 18 July.
Following the utterance Mbaka made at his crusade ground about Petrt Obi, the Presidenatial candidate of the Labour Party LP, calling him names “a stingy man”, could not be Nigeria’s president. Also said Obi is “cursed.”
Giving reason the ministry was suspended; Bishop Onaga argued that Mbaka had continuously violated all the tenets of Catholicism.”
However, in a statement on Thursday announcing the re-opening of the ministry through the ministry’s facebook handle ‘Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria – AMEN’, asked his followers/adorers to converge at the Adoration ground Umuchigbo Iji Nike Emene Enugu State on Sunday, 2nd October, 2022.
He wrote, “Dear Adorers. To the glory of God, Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria Amen, starts on Sunday 2nd October, 2022 with 10am Mass at the Adoration ground Umuchigbo Iji Nike Emene Enugu State. God bless you miraculously as you come to worship God with us.
