American rappers Lil Durk and Kodak Black pay tribute to late Nigerian street pop artist Mohbad who died on the 12th of September 2023.

The American hip-hop stars joined the growing list of celebrities who have sent their condolences and tributes in honor of the late street pop singer Mohbad.

Kodak Black who has a large family of fans from Nigeria during a live video saw a fan comment informing him that he was the late singer’s neighborhood hero before his untimely death.

Responding to it sent his condolences and also stated that he only just stumbled on the singers page few days back.

Also Chicago rapper Lil Durk has sent his condolences in a tweet.

“RIP Mohbad AKA Imole”.

Lil Durk also posted the tribute to the late singer on his Instagram story.

Although Lil Durk’s tribute may come as a surprise to many, it’s no news that the rapper has a large number of followers from Nigeria with the release of his single ‘All My Life’ featuring J Cole Which hit NO. 1 on Apple Music and Spotify Nigeria charts.
