Anambra boy to represent Nigeria at global chemistry event 

A young boy and student of Premium Breed Secondary School, Nnewichi Nnewi, Anambra State has emerged as the overall best in Chemistry in the state.

The boy has become one of the six finalists to represent Nigeria at the 2023 International Chemistry Olympiad holding in Switzerland.

“Nwadinobi competed with students from over 600 schools in Anambra to emerge as one of the finalists to represent the country.

In his speech, Nwadinobi attributed the achievement to God, his teachers and his dedication to studies.

“Welcoming the team in her office at the State Secretariate Complex Awka, on Friday, the state Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, restated Nwadinobi’s feat was a demonstration of the State Government’s unwavering commitment to providing Anambra students with every opportunity to excel academically at both national and international levels.

“Chuma-Udeh commended Nwadinobi and the School for their outstanding performance while emphasising the importance of continued dedication and hard work.

She enjoined them not to rest on their laurels as the state would eagerly anticipate an outstanding performance at the Olympiad.”
