Anita Okoye, the estranged wife of Nigerian singer and the twin brother of music duo Psquare, Paul Okoye, has replied to his sweet Mother’s Day message for her.

Recall that the couple, had finalized their divorce in 2022, but have completely made their kids their priority and kept things matured between them. On Sunday which was mother’s Day celebration. The singer had taken to his Instagram page to celebrate the mother of his three children,which was accompanied with a photo of Anita and their children, he wished her a Happy Mother’s Day.

She reciprocated,which clearly dictate that there are no hidden grudges between the duo.below is her reply;

“Thank you”.

Remember that Anita had filed for a divorce in 2021 on the grounds of infidelity, separation, not being a regular father, fraud, and other had experiences.

One year after she filed for divorce, an Abuja High Court sitting in Maitama granted Anita and Paul Okoye a divorce, with a monthly settlement of $20,000 and some of her husband’s properties.

Regardless of their divorce, the couple have been handling things peacefully between them. sometime last year, the divorced couple reunited at his concert in Detroit with his twin brother, Peter Okoye. Paul had taken his kids to his concert rehearsal together with his ex-wife. Meanwhile, the couple maintained social distance as they didn’t interact much.

Regarding the union,Anita bragged about reuniting with the singer for the kids’ sake as she spoke out about the concert excitedly.

In April, the estranged couple had a union to celebrate their first child’s birthday. The divorced couple had treated him to a low-key birthday celebration. Thereafter, the couples were captured in an Instagram video happily talking with one of their family relatives.

Lot’s of people commended their maturity, while others wished for them to reunite as a couple.

Following their separation, Paul Okoye has since moved on with influencer Ivy Ifeoma. Speaking out on his new relationship, Paul, in an Instagram live session, left many in disbelief when he pointed out that he has been single for 4 years. He stated clearly that he was a divorcee when he crossed paths with Ivy Ifeoma,his new girlfriend.
