The former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose led some governors under the ruling party of the All Progressive Congress (APC), to visit governor Nyesom Wike in Rivers.

On Friday some governors were seen with wike at his residence in Port Harcourt, the governors including Gov, Kayode Fayemi; Gov Rotimi Akeredolu and Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

A closed-door meeting is currently ongoing. There is speculation that their mission is to woo Wike and other aggrieved PDP members to align with the ruling government ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Wakadaily reported that Governor Wike took some time off politics to enjoy with his brother, governor Okezie Victor Ikeazu in Turkey.
