Early Life & Education

Ash Stymest was born on July 31, 1991, in England, United Kingdom, and was raised in Coney Hall.

He went to Charles Darwin and Ravens Wood School, in the London Borough of Bromley.

Career

Ashley developed a passion for music at the age of 12 when he became a member of the group, Mannequins. While he began his career as a model after being recruited by Hedi Slimane at the age of 17.

He founded his own band Bones where he played the drums. He recorded an album with his band in 2011. He was also featured in the music video for “Gotta Be With You” by the Korean girl group, 2NEI.

As a model, he signed with modeling agency The Lions NY in 2015. He was managed by Anonymous Content and Curtis Brown Group.

He has appeared in Campaigns for the likes of H&M, Springle of Scotland, Dr. Martens, and Espirit and also worked with popular designers like Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, Moschino, Karl Lagerfield, and many others.

He made his first appearance as a model on the cover of Japanese Vogue Hommes in 2018. He presented a show on MTV UK called MTV Bang from 2010 to 2011.

He starred alongside Hafsia Herzi in a French Independent film Sex Doll, as directed by Sylvie Verheyde.
