The up-and-coming singer Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, has brought together her boss, Don Jazzy, and the Grammy-winning singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid.
It is well-known that Ayra Starr recently released her new album called The Year I turned 21, and it has been receiving positive feedback.
Wizkid is among the millions of Nigerians who have reacted to the song on the X app. He praised the singer’s excellent work and referred to her as a ‘superstar.’
Don Jazzy responded to this tweet by expressing gratitude to Wizkid and referring to him as Big Wiz.
Don Jazzy responds, “Thanks Big Wiz .”
Wizkid and Don Jazzy had a positive response to Ayra Starr’s new album, following Wizkid’s previous criticism of the Mavin Records boss.
Wakadaily reported that Wizkid caused chaos on the X app when he indirectly insulted Don Jazzy through his artist Ladipoe.
Ladipoe had used the X-Platform to mock Wizkid’s controversial statement about hip-hop being dead, and a fan of Wizkid brought this to his attention.
In response, Wizkid took a swipe at Don Jazzy, implying that he was never talking to someone signed to an influencer, suggesting that Don Jazzy, as a record label manager, was an influencer.
As a result, the music executive unfollowed Wizkid on social media.
In light of this, internet users uncovered a tweet from Don Jazzy in 2020 where he referred to himself as an influencer.
In the resurfaced tweet, the founder of Mavins sent a message to Air Hostesses, encouraging them to become social media influencers. He also revealed that he had become a full-time influencer himself.
Don Jazzy said that he would seek training from social media influencers and content creators such as Mr Macaroni, Taaoma, and Lasisi.
