Ayra starr reflects on her path to fame, say’s she knew it, from the start

In a candid conversation with Spotify, Ayra Starr shared the key moments that paved the way for her rapid rise to stardom at a remarkably young age

Ayra Starr began by sharing that at just 10 years old, she had a strong conviction that she would become famous, inspired by the likes of Disney’s Hannah Montana, even though she had no clear idea how she would make it happen.

Ayra Starr continued, sharing that at 16, she was paralyzed by fear, stuck in a rut, and only singing in the comfort of her room.

However, at 18, her life took a dramatic turn as she finally stepped into a recording studio and graduated from university, giving her the freedom to pursue her dreams.

This newfound independence led to the release of her debut album, ’19 and Dangerous’, at 19, which catapulted her to global stardom. She went on to reveal that at 21, she received a prestigious Grammy nomination, and has now released her second album, aptly titled ‘The Year I Turned Twenty-One’.”

Ayra Starr’s rise to stardom was nothing short of originality. From the moment she dropped her debut single under Mavin Records, she became an unstoppable force in the music industry, churning out hit after hit.

But it’s not just her music that’s made a lasting impression – her fashion sense has also turned heads. With her bold and daring outfits, ranging from mini skirts to low-hung jeans, Ayra Starr has left fans and onlookers alike in awe. Her fearless approach to fashion even caught the attention of industry veteran Tiwa Savage, who praised Ayra Starr for her confidence and compared her to herself when she was starting out.

Tiwa Savage recalled facing backlash for her own fashion choices early in her career, but encouraged Ayra Starr to keep pushing boundaries and dressing unapologetically, as long as she feels comfortable and true to herself.
