Gunmen suspected to be bandits have reportedly kidnapped the Special Adviser to the Zamfara State Governor on Political Affairs, Ibrahim Ma,aji.

A source told journalists that Ma,aji was kidnapped in his house in Mareri area in Gusau town, the state capital in the early hours of Saturday, adding that the bandits were yet to reach out to them.

“The bandits are yet to call any of the family members to demand for a ransom.

“We have been calling his phone number and it was ringing but nobody answers,” family source said.
