Former Big Brother Naija season 3 housemate , Patrick Fakoya, well known as Rico Swavey, who has been on a life support machines after a ghastly motor accident is dead.
His fellow ex-housemate, Tobi Bakre and Alex Unusual earlier took to their social medial page on Wednesday to ask the public for donations.
Tobi wrote, “Please help save Rico. He had a really bad car accident. We have to keep him on life support and continue to pay the rising medical bills while we pray for God’s miracle.
“(We) can’t do it alone. Please click on the link to donate at ricoswavey.com.”
Confirming his death on Thursday Tobi shared a picture of himself and Rico, with the caption: “This is how I will remember you brother.”
Friends and colleagues have taken to social media to mourn the 29-year-old star.
Alex Unusual who had earlier broken the news of Rico Swavey accident took to her Twitter page to mourn her colleague.
She wrote’ “This was not what we agreed Rico. Rest In Peace #ricoswavey.”
