Khosi Twala was born to South African parents Mr. & Mrs. Twala on the 10th of August 1997. She was born and raised in the Rainbow Nation.

She is originally from Newcastle, in KwaZulu-Natal. She spent her formative years residing in the province in the southeastern part of the country.
