Borno lawmaker’s daughter murdered in Maiduguri

A source said the incident happened at around 6:30pm on Tuesday, when the husband was said to have left the compound to a nearby mosque for prayers.

This came barley 24 hours after Governor Babagana Zulum ordered the immediate demolition of brothels, shanties, and makeshift bear joints at the Railway Terminus general area, which he claimed these unwholesome activities are breeding criminals and other related killings in the metropolis.

Mrs. Amma Buwa lifeless body was found with her hands and legs tied behind her back,  while their two-year-old child was found crying beside her.

The deceased husband, Mr Buwa took her body to the police station. The police Gwange Police Division evacuated the body to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital for autopsy and further investigation.

A family source who posted this on Facebook said Mrs Amma Buwa would be buried today (Wednesday) morning in Maiduguri at 777 Housing Estate at 10 am.

He wrote, “Inna lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un.
