BREAKING: Gunmen killed APGA youth leader in Anambra State 

Emeka Alaehobi, a youth leader of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), has been killed by unknown gunmen in Anambra State.

According to reports, the youth leader was kidnapped from his home in Ukpor, Nnewi South Local Government Area, two day-ago. His lifeless body was found at Utah junction on Saturday morning, few kilometres away from Ukpor.

Anambra State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed that a corpse was discovered in the area on Saturday, but was unable to ascertain the identity of the corpse.

“When our operatives got to the scene, the corpse had been removed by some persons we are yet to identify, and we have also ascertained that the corpse is that of the youth leader,” he said.

The spokesman said operatives are on the trail of the attackers,  adding that the perpetrators will be made to face Justice. The southeastern part has been a target of unknown gunmen strikes in recent months.

The council headquarter has severally been attacked, same for the police division in the area. The State Governor, prof. Chukwuma Soludo, had on Friday, promised to fish out more criminals from the state during a raid of kidnappers hideous by security agencies in the State.
