BREAKING: Terrorists release five more kidnapped victims 

The terrorists who attacked the AK-9 Abuja Kaduna train passengers on March 28 2022, have revealed five more kidnapped victims on Tuesday 2 August.

The Publisher of Kaduna-based Desert Herald and Media Consultant to a controversial Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, who announced his withdrawal as one of the negotiators, confirmed the release of the five victims.

The five hostages are Prof. Mustapha Umar Imam, Akibu Lawal; Abubakar Ahmed Rufai, Mukthar Shu’aibu and Sidi Aminu Sharif.

Tukur Mamu, called on the government to hasten negotiations for the release of the remaining victims because they were in dangerous conditions.

Wakadaily earlier reported that, terrorists had vowed to sell some of the passengers and kill some if the government refuse to adhere to their demands.

The terriosts leader said: “Just like the Chibok girls that were sold off, we will equally sell these as slaves. If you don’t adhere to our demands, we will kill the ones we need to kill and sell the remaining. By God’s grace, El-Rufai, Buhari, we will bring you here.”

Recall that it’s been 4 months since the Abuja-Kaduna train attack, on April 7, they released the Managing Director of the Bank of the Agriculture, Alwan Hassan, after he paid an N100 million ransom.
