Nigerian musician Brymo Olawale expressed his joy at the reinstatement of the previous National anthem.
He praised President Tinubu as the greatest Nigerian president and encouraged fellow Nigerians to read the lyrics of the new anthem, which refers to the country as Motherland instead of Fatherland.
With the old anthem back, which refers to the country as Fatherland, Africa can be seen as the Fatherland and represent polygamy, allowing everyone to unite as one family.
Brymo expressed his happiness that every girl and boy in Nigeria belongs to the only brotherhood in Nigeria, quoting a line from the old anthem that said, “We stand together in brotherhood.”
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is officially my G.O.A.T of all Nigerian Presidents. Read the lyrics of the new national anthem; the first stanza is all you need; it asserts Nigeria as the “motherland”, and now Africa can be Fatherland and be the symbol of polygamy, and we can all focus on one family unit each finally.
And my favourite part; “In brotherhood we stand”. We are all now members of the greatest cult on earth. Nigeria is the only brotherhood every boy and girl just belongs to in this country. I am very happy”.
He stated that he stands by his nation and his nation stands by him.
“I am with my country, and my country is with me”.
While Brymo is celebrating the old national anthem, actress Kate Henshaw slammed the government for focusing on the anthem during a time of severe hardship and poor governance.
Henshaw expressed her disappointment that the anthem was created during the colonial era and accused the government of trying to force patriotism on its citizens.
Comedian and actor Otaghware Onod, better known as I Save, questioned the government’s ability to bring back old prices for the dollar, fuel, flights, taxes, and security standards.
Actress Yvonne Jegede previously confronted Lagos Governor Sanwo Olu about the economic difficulties faced by the people, suggesting that he should provide employment opportunities rather than just feeding them.
Influencer Laura Ikeji pleaded with President Tinubu to address the declining Nigerian economy, offering her assistance to the government.
