Cubana Chief Priest was born on March 26, 1982, in Orsu, Imo State southeastern parts of Nigeria. He was born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Okechukwu and he is the second child in the family.
He was born and raised in Imo alongside his sister Onyinyechi Maryanne.
Cubana Chief Priest spent a part of his formative years in Abia State. He moved down to the ancient city of Aba to live with his father and learn the shoemaking trade. In a matter of years, he had mastered the craft of making shoes and worked diligently as an apprentice in his father’s establishment.

He often traveled down to Aba to purchase the shoes from his father and go back to school to resell them to interested buyers. In no time, he became a famous personality in the polytechnic community.
Cubana Chief Priest moved down to Lagos in search of better entrepreneurial opportunities. During this period, his path crossed with nightlife businessman Obi Cubana. The older entrepreneur offered him employment under the then-emerging Cubana Group. He took the offer and became the General Manager of Cubana Group.
