Nollywood actress and TV personality, Damilola Adegbite, has recounted how her handbag was stolen in London, United Kingdom.

The movie star said the handbag which contained her iPhone and all the money for the trip, was stolen, adding that she would have been stranded in a foreign country if not for a helper

Adegbite revealed this on Thursday via her Instagram page.

She said, “Regardless of where you are or where you plan to go, the most important thing is for God to be with you. My handbag was stolen some weeks ago in London. My phone and all my money for the trip gone in a second, literally. MET police had to get involved. It was like a movie. Thank God for a helper. I would have been stranded in a foreign land. The world has changed guys. It’s not the destination, it’s about where we will flourish, prosper and be happiest!”.

This comes a few hours after media personality, Toke Makinwa, was robbed of her valuables.

Wakadaily learnt that Media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa has taken to social media to reveal that she was robbed off her valuables in London.

The 38-year-old was among the guests who graced the White wedding  of actress Rita Dominic, the wedding ceremony which was held in North Yorkshire in England, was attended by Nollywood celebrities and families of the couple.

Makinwa, who took to her Instagram to reveal the sad experience wrote, “Just got robbed in London… I’m speechless. All my valuables are gone. Gosh how could this happen to me.”

Also, singer Yemi Alade, revealed how she was robbed over the weekend in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire where she went to perform.
