Nigerian multi-award-winning singer David Adedeji Adeleke, professionally known as Davido/OBO, just offered a four to five years scholarship to a brilliant Ghanaian student identified as Suleyman, who got parallel A1 in his West Africa Examination Council (WAEC), exams.
The boy who wrote his WAEC in 2021, happened to be the best student but couldn’t further his education due to financial crisis.
A young man identified as Nana Yaw, posted the result on Twitter while wishing a fan happy birthday, he used the opportunity to seek support for him.
He tweeted “Happy Birthday, @thenanaaba God richly blesses you
I wld want you to use this occasion to bless this brilliant boy with the numerous blessings God has been using you to bless people. He was the best stdt at Sunyani SHS in 2021 but due to financial constraints, he’s still at home”.
After the tweet went viral, Davido went on Twitter to ask “Who can please find this boy for me ??
Few hours later OBO was able to reach out to the lucky boy, he posted on his Twitter that they have contacted Suleyman, and offered him five years scholarship to study at Adeleke University.
“We have contacted Suleyman who lives in Ghana and he has been given a full 4/5 year scholarship to Adeleke university .. accommodation and allowance include! God bless y’all,” #wrblo.
