Davido reportedly unfollowed his favourite aide, Isreal DMW on Instagram after he issued an apology to the Muslim community on his behalf.
The singer have been dragged and criticized over a controversial music video of his new signee Olamilekan Taiwo, aka Logos Olori, titled “Jaye Lo” on Friday evening.
The 45-second clip which was shot in front of a Mosque, depicted scenes where some men in white Jalabiya, were observing prayers. After the prayers, the men switched to dancing.
Despite deleting the video which had gathered streams on his social media platforms, some Muslims are still demanding a public apology from Davido.
Some Northern went as far as burning all posters carrying the Afrobeat star pictures, and threatened to deal with him if he steps foot in their state.
For peace to reign, his logistic manger apologised on behalf of his boss, angered by his action, Davido reportedly unfollowed him on Instagram.
A check from Wakadaily shows that Isreal is still following his boss on IG.
In the now deleted post, Isreal DMW wrote: “Let me specially apologise to my Muslim brothers and sisters, on the video my oga posted, as a result of him wanting to lift up somebody, which is one of his hubbies.
“It was purely an entertainment effort wrongly presented. Make una no vex. Love you all.”
