Delta man beats pregnant wife to death 

A man identified as M.O.B. reportedly beat his pregnant wife Beatrice, to death in the Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to Punch, the incident occurred on Friday evening in the vicinity of a new generation church, Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries, on New Road, Awolowo Road Extension, in Sapele.

The impatient man was seen asking his wife why she had left home to church without doing the necessary house chores and making an arrangement for his dinner.

The source said the wife was not given an opportunity for an explanation before the husband slapped her several times, causing her to collapse on the spot.

Adding that the woman was therefore rushed to a nearby medical facility, Obule hospital by neighbours and church members, unfortunately, she was confirmed dead on arrival.
