Dr Penking, a doctor and influential personality on Twitter, has slammed the Aba market for imitating Zlatan Ibile’s clothing brand.

According to a report by Wakadaily, on May 19, 2024, Zlatan had announced the launch of his clothing brand, ZTTW Shop, and the opening of his store.

Over the weekend, the singer held a celebrity event where famous personalities such as Mercy Eke, Odunlade Adekola, Brodashaggi, and others attended in a fashionable manner.

Less than a day after the launch, Aba market has already copied and started circulating a replica of the clothing brand.

Dr Penking expressed his disappointment in them, stating how they showed no sympathy towards the singer.

He stated that Zlatan invested over N237 billion in the brand and questioned how he would be able to recover his investment with the presence of counterfeit clothing.

“Zlatan spent 237 billion Naira to open this ZTTW store only for Aba to start counterfeiting his style in less than 24 hours. No pity at all. How will he recoup all that money?”.

Netizens were not pleased with his comment regarding the singer’s extravagant spending on opening his store, and they slammed him for it.

Last year, Zlatan reflected on his early career and emphasized that he achieved success through hard work and talent, rather than resorting to unethical practices.

He made it clear that he did not use any manipulative tactics, such as using his ex-partners’ belongings, to climb the ladder of success in the music industry.

In February, a Twitter user named Izybodyfitness blasted Zlatan for being stingy.

However, Zlatan responded by stating that if people ask for money, he is willing to give it to them.

Contrary to the belief that Zlatan is stingy, Shallipopi revealed that Zlatan played a significant role in his own career without expecting anything in return.

Shallipopi expressed his gratitude during an interview, acknowledging that Zlatan collaborated with him on a song without asking for compensation.

He credited Zlatan’s influence for the song’s viral success and global recognition.
