EFCC nabs 28 Internet fraudsters in Nasarawa 

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has on Saturday arrested 28 suspected internet fraudsters in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Command of the EFCC revealed this in a series of tweets on its verified Twitter page on Monday.

The suspects are: Yusuf Mudi, Umar Ibrahim, Gabriel Selumun, Moses Hamidu, Christian Kelechi, Sara Abdullah, Abdulsalam Ogba, Ngene Chinonso, Muoneke  Celestine, Terhemen Silas, Emmanuel Phillip, Emmanuel Akwe, Jones Kismet, Shehu Khalif, Emmanuel Isaiah and Adeleke Raphael.

Others are: Samuel Kubialah, Sanusi Abdullahi, Dugeri Jerome, Terhemen Mark, Joshua Emmanuel, Gedion Sunday, Terwase Kenneth, Benny Ukeh Iyaji, Arigu Bishara, Emmanuel Idi, Omotunde Mayowa, Kenneth Joy, Ozigho Agnes and Rejoice Solomon.

Items recovered from them include 37 phones, five laptop computers, five Automated Teller Machine cards of different banks, two identity cards, two wallets, two laptop chargers, one knife, three power banks, one hard drive and one battery charger.

The suspects would be charged to court as soon as the investigations were concluded.”
