Eid-el-Kabri: I pray for peace in our country – Peter Obi

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), and the former Anambra state governor, Peter Obi said, he prayed for peace to rain in our dear country as he sent a message to the Muslim community for the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Mr Obi in a video via his Twitter page said “my fellow Nigerians as we mark this day of Eid-el-Kabir I bring you special greetings, I celebrate with you and pray for peace in our dear country, the holy book teaches us peace, love and brotherhood.

He further said “The holy book teaches us good ways to our fellow men and women, as we mark this auspicious day, I urge you to reflect on the peace and the Justice we need in our dear country, and how you can help to bring it about.

May God almighty bless you all, Eid-el-Kabir,” he said.
