Nollywood actress Empress Njamah is commemorating the birthday of her late friend and colleague, Ada Ameh.
It has been reported that Ada passed away on July 17, 2022, due to mental health issues and a heart attack.
Although it has been over a year since her passing, Empress continues to remember her.
She shared a throwback video of them on her Instagram page, expressing her sadness that she can no longer be the first to wish Ada a happy birthday.
However, Empress believes that wherever Ada is, she is having a wonderful birthday and watching over them.
She promises to celebrate Ada’s birthday just as they always did, despite her absence.
“It’s midnight; You’re not here for me to be the first to call and wish you a blessed birthday; God knows best.
We all miss you every day, but especially today, I know that wherever you are, you’re having a great birthday and watching over us today. I celebrate your life. Your birthday is finally here, and even though you are no longer with us on earth, I will still celebrate just like we always did together.
Happy posthumous birthday, my dearest SWEET TROUBLE
ADA AMEH”.
Last year, Empress celebrated the birthday of the late actress, expressing her deep longing for her and offering prayers.
In July, she remembered Ada on the one-year anniversary of her passing, reflecting on their last moments together and expressing regret for not staying longer.
Empress fondly recalled their wonderful time together and vowed to always hold Ada in her heart.
She also observed the two-year anniversary of the death of Ada Ameh’s daughter, Aladi, who passed away on October 30th, 2020.
Empress shared how she said her final goodbye by pouring sand on Aladi’s grave, and surprisingly, instead of tears, she found herself smiling, comforted by the knowledge that Aladi was reunited with her beloved mother.
It’s worth noting that when news of Ameh’s death first broke, Empress was hospitalized.
