Early Life and Education
Esther Audu was born on 22 March 1982 in Ikeja, Lagos state. After attending primary and junior secondary schools in Lagos, Esther Ene Audu’s family relocated to Abuja in 2002. In Abuja, she completed her secondary school education before gaining admission to the University of Jos, Plateau State in 2006 to study Business Management. In 2010, she successfully graduated with a BA in Business Management.
Career
Esther Ene discovered her passion for acting during her secondary school years, where she was involved in Drama and Literary clubs. While representing Nigeria at Kidafest in Ghana in 1996 further nurtured her love for acting, prompting her to pursue it instead of her initial dream of becoming a newscaster.
Her acting career took off with lead roles in movies like “Ungodly Romance” and “Sins of Rachael,” which marked her entry into Nollywood. She balanced her studies as an undergraduate and she continued to actively participate in films and also played a sub lead role in “Fatal Mistake” directed by Norbert Ajagu.
