Ex-BBNaija housemate Chibueze Iyels popularly know as Hermes, was involved in a car accident today 3rd August 2023.

The big brother star disclosed this by posting  a picture of his bashed car on his Instagram story.

His black Mercedes that once stood gallant and beautiful, took a hit on the front grill and was caved in.

Hermes captioned the post, “bless God for life and safety”.

He also made a post on his Instagram to ensure his fans and well wishes that he was fine and thanked those who reached out, out of concern.

In his words, “I know a lot of you have been checking up on me since I posted on my story, I was involved in an accident yesterday, and everyone came out of it safe. So there is nothing to worry about”.

He also noted that he was still having some side effects from the accident but reassured everyone that he was doing ok.

“I can’t thank God enough for that. That was scary, I’m still a bit shaken up. Thank you for your concern and well wishes.”

Prior to this incident, Hermes was last seen at the scene of the demolition happening in the Oworonshoki area in Lagos State, where he was enlightening social media users of the damages being done to poor masses.
