Nigerian celebrity bartender Pascal Okechukwu, better known as Chief Priest, has requested an apology from his close friend David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, regarding their recent dispute with Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid.
The internet has been buzzing with excitement since the start of this week, following Wizkid’s provocative tweets that angered Davido’s fans. Since then, the two music icons have been engaged in a heated argument.
Additionally, their loyal supporters have further intensified the dispute by making disrespectful remarks and using offensive language.
The head priest went on his social media page to demand a prompt apology from Wizkid to Davido.
In reply, Wizkid told him to step aside and sit down, while a fan made fun of the head priest’s weight, suggesting it could break a chair.
It is worth stating that earlier this month, the head priest was brought before the EFCC on charges of defacing the Naira currency and other offenses.
According to reports from Channels Television, the EFCC has brought three charges against the businessman for spraying and tampering with the Nigerian currency at a social event, which goes against the Central Bank Act of 2007.
Pascal appeared in front of Justice Kehinde Ogundare at the Federal High Court in Lagos on April 17th, 2024, and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
During the court proceedings, his lawyer, Chukwusolo Onukwi, objected to the charges brought by the EFCC.
Additionally, he submitted a bail application, which was approved by the judge. Pascal has been granted bail with a fine of ten million naira.
