Professional wrestler and former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) champion, Windham Rotunda, popularly known as Bray Wyatt reportedly passed away on Thursday.
Bray Wyatt was the son of WWE Hall of Fame wrestler, Mike Rotunda.
The news of his death was announced by WWE, the company however, didn’t state the cause of his death or the location.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s chief content officer, Tweeted on X that, “Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.”
Also mourning the deceased, actor and former wrestler “The Rock” posted, “I’m heartbroken over the news of Bray Wyatt’s passing. Always had tremendous respect and love for him and the Rotunda family.”
The 36-year-old became WWE Champion in 2017, he competed as a variety of characters throughout his career, including a member of The Wyatt Family and a terrifying masked alter ego known as The Fiend.
