On Sunday, the Federal Road Safety Corps sent a warning about fraudulent recruitment information that was making the rounds on the internet.

The following notice about the alleged recruitment is being circulated online since April 4, 2024: “FRSC Recruitment Portal 2024: The Federal Road Safety Corps is recruiting experienced professionals who are willing to work for the organization.” Continue reading to find out more about the Federal Road Safety Corps recruitment online requirements and application process.

In a statement signed by the corps spokesperson, Jonas Agwu, the Corps Marshal of the FRSC, Dauda Biu, asked the public to ignore false allegations of an ongoing recruitment process, emphasizing that nothing of such nature is now occurring or planned.

The statement read, “The attention of the Federal Road Safety Corps has been drawn to a publication by online platforms misinforming the public about ongoing recruitment of personnel into the services of the corps.

“This medium is to let the public know that the corps is presently not recruiting, neither is there any ongoing arrangement to that effect.

“The Corps Marshal, Dauda Biu, wishes to admonish applicants seeking to join the services of the corps, as well as the general public, to disregard the fake and misleading publications.”

He said that the notice acted as an indicator to people not to deal with fraudulent organizations that disseminate false information, as the corps will not be held accountable for any outcomes that arise from doing so.

“The public is hereby warned to desist from any form of engagement with the purported scammers and purveyors of misinformation as the Corps will not be liable should anyone fall victim,” Agwu warned.
