Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has sparked speculation about her relationship with singer Mo Eazy, better known as Moses Agboola.

Akindele posted a photo on her Instagram page, honoring and expressing affection for the singer’s mother, while also wishing her a long life.

“Happy birthday, mummy. May you live longer in good health and wealth. We love you, mummy @iammoeazy”.

Funke went beyond that; she also went to the comments section of Mo Eazy’s Instagram post to honor and appreciate her.

The singer had shown affection towards his mother and said that he couldn’t find the right words to express his gratitude towards her.

“Happy birthday to my Mother.
No words can describe my gratitude.
I love you”.

Funke left a comment on his post, expressing her well wishes for a joyful birthday and sending prayers for an abundance of blessings.

“Mummy! Happy birthday to sweet mummy. God bless her more.”

Additionally, Juliana Olayode, who is mentored by Funke, extended her birthday wishes to her mother.

“Happy birthday, mummy. God bless and keep you, Ma”.

This has caused surprise and speculation on social media because a blogger named Cutie Julls claimed last month that the movie star was dating the singer, despite opposition from his sister.

Nevertheless, numerous people commented in support of the actress, emphasizing that she deserves to find love once more.

Funke Akindele has been married two times. Her first marriage was to Adeola Kehinde Oloyede in 2013, but they divorced in May 2016 due to irreconcilable differences.

When discussing her first marriage, Funke hinted that she felt pressured into getting married and advised young women not to rush into marriage.

She said that her first marriage ended badly and was widely publicized on social media, leading to the loss of endorsement deals and causing her emotional distress.

Funke Akindele later married singer JJC Skillz and they had twin boys together. However, their marriage also ended in separation in 2023.

Shortly after their divorce, JJC Skillz married a woman named Falilat Raji.

Funke Akindele explained that their separation was due to their differing visions and goals for their marriage.

Despite their split, they have maintained a good relationship for the sake of their children.

In a recent interview, Funke shared that she does not view her divorces as failures.

She explained that her late mother taught her that failure is necessary for success. Following her divorce, her main priority is focused on her children.
