Popular Nollywood actor Jide Awobona, has replied the back lash he got for not supporting Funke Akindele while other colleagues did so.
The angry actor on his Instagram page replied the trolls for calling him out when he made a post to state that Funke Akindele actually tried to reach the actress before she died.
The actor came online and shared with netizens his last discussions about late Jumoke Aderounmu with Funke Akindele. He stated how he was insulted, bashed and called all sort of negative names for speaking out about what he knows.
He noted that he’s still pained about the death of his beloved friend coupled with fasting and movie shoots.
Moreso , the actor stated reasons why he refused to join the trends of Nollywood actors and actress’s who supported the actress despite been the first to do such.

Remember that Funke took to her Instagram Live yesterday and explained her side of the story stating obvious the things she knew about Jumoke Aderounmu’s situation. She spoke about how she lost her mother, marriage, and politics and is still trying to get her life back together.
Funke Akindele’s post came following the allegations shouldered on her by late Jumoke Aderounmu’s brother, who dragged her online for abandoning his late sister. He called her out publicly for mourning her when all efforts to get to her were all futile.
