Group commends NDDC on level of performance

The Niger Delta people will overwhelmingly support President Bola Tinubu by 2027, according to a group called Movement for the Survival of the Izon Ethnic Nationality in the Niger Delta (MOSIEND).

This is due to the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and managing director Dr. Samuel Ogbuku’s excellent performance.

High Chief Thompson Fouye, vice president of MOSIEND, revealed this information yesterday to reporters just following an interactive meeting between the NDDC board and a few chosen stakeholders.

In his remarks, Fouye praised Tinubu for designating the board to oversee the commission’s operations saying, “Their appointment suggests to MOSIEND that Mr. President is understands the challenges and setbacks that has bedevilled the accelerated development of the region.”

He predicted, that in four years there will be a significant improvement in the quality of life in the Niger Delta region thanks to the deliberate and well-coordinated actions of the current board.

The vice president of MOSIEND urged all interested parties to strongly back the commission’s management team, which is headed by Ogbuku.

In order to move the Niger Delta toward rapid growth, Fouye implored the president to show great affection for the current members of the NDDC board and to provide them with the necessary backing.

He said, “Our yearnings to get a better Niger Delta is coming to fruition through the visionary leadership of the managing director of NDDC, Dr. Sam Ogbuku”.
