Gunmen behead police officer, shot another in Abia 

Some unknown gunmen reportedly attacked and killed two Policemen on Thursday in Aba, Abia State.

It was gathered that the policemen from the Eziama Division went to a hotel called 32 Rooms in the Umuode Area of Osisioma LGA and arrested a boy.

On their way out, they were blocked by a group of boys in a black Lexus car. They started shooting sporadically, which the officers were overpowered and they took to their heels.

Some officers were said to have run into the bush, while others ran into nearby shops.

The policeman in the vehicle was allegedly beheaded while another running along the road, was shot dead by the hoodlums who left the scene with their captive.

When the Police Public relations officer in Abia state, ASP Chinaka Chioma Maureen, was contacted for reactions, she described the report as false.
