He rose to fame after his action roles in movies, He made his first movie debut in 1993 and became known for his role in the movie The Senator.

Hanks Anuku was born on August 27, 1960, in Ibadan, Nigeria but He originally hails from Delta State, Nigeria.

He is an Igbo man from the tribe.

He spent most of his childhood living in Ibadan, where he attended both his primary and secondary education.

Hanks attended Loyola College, Ibadan, for his secondary education, while he obtained a higher national diploma (HND) in Mass Communication at Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State.

Career

Hanks Anuku made his debut movie role in 1993 after joining the movie industry. He first featured in the movie Skeleton and was absolutely a talent to reckon with, having shown a good interpretation of his role.

He followed up with roles in other movies such as Akidi, Django, Dear Sister, and Wild Romance.

Hanks Anuku was naturalized as a Ghanaian citizen in 2017, and he also changed his name to Nana Kwame Fifi Kakra Anuku.
