Early Life & Education
Hotyce was born in Lagos state, Nigeria but was raised in Abuja the country’s capital.
He is a native of Delta state the south southern part of Nigeria.
He had both his elementary and secondary school education at Abuja. After his secondary school education, he proceeded to the University of Abuja where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
Career
Hotyce developed an interest in music back in his secondary school days and he started writing his own rap songs back then as a teenager, he took up music as a full-time career after relocating from Lagos to Abuja.
He broke into the major streams after dropping his 2016 hit single “10 O’Clock in VGC” which gained him much attention from music listeners.
He released his first official studio album titled “Redhotycecold vol 1“ after he got a contract deal and was signed into K20 entertainment.
