Edo born Nollywood actress, Etinosa Idemodia, who was married at the age of 22, but now divorced with a child, has revealed that she took illicit drugs while married because of the abuse she faced in her marriage.

The mother of two, said she was still very naive by the time she got married with her husband declaring himself as lord.

In a chat with popular media personality chude jideonwo, she opened up on how terrified she was of her ex-husband, she was always scared whenever he comes back home.

She said “it (the domestic violence) got to a point where I was on drugs, whenever he (the ex husband) is coming home, normally as a woman you should be happy that your husband is coming home but I will just starched up and dope up so that no matter what he say’s, no matter what his doing, I’m just looking at him. So that there would be peace.

She also said “ I was green, I no know anything, I was a mumu. I was 22 when I married. my ex husband told me that I’m not your friend, I’m your lord.”

Etinosa Idemodia said she eventually left the marriage, when praying and fasting couldn’t stop the constant abuse.

Recall that the actress however got married again, after her abusive first marriage, but the union didn’t last up to a year before it also ended.
