Fast-emerging artist, Crayon, has strongly criticized individuals who are condemning him for supporting his label mate, Rema.
Earlier today, Wakadaily reported that Rema had used the X platform to speak out to Nigerians about the origins of Afrobeat.
Rema disclosed that the music industry was no longer dominated by just the Big 3, but now included a Big 4, with himself being a part of it. He also emphasized that Afrobeat was superior and more significant than anything else.
In response to the criticism, Crayon confidently defended his statement, which resulted in a lot of backlash.
A fan pointed out that people on Twitter were extremely angry at the singer for his statement, but Crayon remained unaffected and stated how he is living the life that they dream of.
He said that even though he doesn’t boast, he owns a Mercedes Benz AMG worth N170 million.
“Lol my AMG worth 170million naira draggggg. I’m living their dreams!!!! I no dey like brag bros”.
In different news, Rema has announced that he will not be putting out any new songs.
This information came to light after his record label, Marvin’s record, asked fans and followers if they wanted new music from Rema.
In response, Rema stated that there would be no new music and expressed that he was not interested in fake publicity.
It is also worth stating that two weeks ago, Rema expressed frustration during a live performance at the Dreamville Festival due to technical difficulties, causing him to angrily leave the stage.
