Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Bankole Wellington popularly known as Banky W has clarified that the he didn’t sign the Big Brother Naija season 6 winner, Whitemoney to his label.

Wakadaily learnt that the photos which the BBNaija winner shared via his social media on September, got many talking, people believed that Whitemoney have been signed to Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), record label.

Clarifying the news, the actor and politician in an interview with Hot FM, said, EME transitioned from a record label to a media and marketing agency, noting that he only helped Whitemoney get an ambassadorial deal with one of his corporate clients.

According to Banky W, “For the artistes that are listening to the program, we transitioned from a record label to a media and marketing agency back in 2017.

“I didn’t sign Whitemoney. What we did was we helped him with an influencer deal with one of the corporate clients that we service.

“He is an ambassador for a company we helped sign him to the marketing situation. We didn’t sign him.”
