American Rapper, Amala Dlamini popularly called Doja Cat, says she feels some sense of freedom after losing 500,000 Instagram followers.

She took to her Instagram story to share how she feels after losing so many followers.

The singer said she felt like a large beast has left her as she feels so much better and can now be herself and connect with her real fans who mattered and loves her.

She posted, “Seeing all these people unfollow me makes me feel like I’ve defeated a large beast that has been holding me down for so long and it feels like I can reconnect with the people who really matter and love me for who I am, and not who I was.”

Doja Cat started losing followers after she lambast a fansbase in July 2023 for calling themselves kitten in solidarity to the singer who give the name when her career just began.

However, Doja didn’t take likely to that and lashed out at her fans for naming themselves. She said, “My fans don’t get to name themselves s**t. If you call yourself a ‘kitten’ or f****** ‘kittenz’ that means you need to get off your phone, and get a job and help your parents with the house”.
