Afrobeats award-winning singer, Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema, says he wants to collaborate with American stars like Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion.
The 23-year-old disclosed this following his successful smash-hit collaboration with American actress and singer, Selena Gomez, on ‘Calm Down.’
The ‘Dumebi’ crooner stated that he wants to work with more females celebrities. Rema made this known in a brief interview with Hollywood Reporter at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in New Jersey, the United States of America.
He said, “I’m hoping to meet Meg (Thee Stallion), Nicki Minaj for possible collaborations. Who else? Yeah, I wanna link up with girls dem.”
Wakadaily reported that the Mavin signee defeated Burna Boy’s ‘It’s Plenty,’ Davido feat Musa Key’s ‘Unavailable,’ Ayra Starr’s ‘Rush,’ Libianca’s ‘People,’ Wizkid feat Ayrra Starr’s ‘2 Sugar,’ and Fireboy DML’s ‘Bandana, who were nominated alongside with him at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards.
