Another Chibok girl, Mary Nkeki, a 27-years-old has been rescued by troops of the Nigerian Army after nine years of abduction
Mary was rescued last week Monday by troops of the 81 Task Force Battalion at Dikwa during an operation into the terrorists’ enclave.
However, the Chibok girl who is now in love said she would love to reunite with her Boko Haram husband, identified as Adam.
The Theater Commander, Operation Hadin Kai, Maj. Gen. Gold Chibuisi, who spoke with journalists on Monday evening noted that Mary “is number 55 on the list of the abducted Chibok girls.
“While in captivity she was forcefully married to one Adam, a Boko Haram terrorist.
“Since her rescue, she has undergone thorough medical examination in our medical facility. Equally, she has been adequately resuscitated and will be handed over to Borno state,” he said.
Also speaking with journalists, after she was handed over to the Borno state Ministry for Women Affairs officials, the rescued Chibok girl said she gave birth to two female kids for her terrorist husband, but they all died.
When she was asked if she would get married, she said, ‘’I already have a husband. I am married to Adam. We fled from captivity together.’
As for marriage, my husband is still alive and I am still in love with him. I don’t know whether he is still in Dikwa or they brought him to Maiduguri but I will love to be reunited with him if it will be possible”.
The development brings the number of rescued Chibok schoolgirls to 16 in recent months
