Nigerian singer, Simi Kosoko has described an experience she recently had at a Lagos passport office.

The mother of one said she was denied entry into the passport office because of how she dressed.

The wife of popular singer, Adekunle Gold, stated that she was told to return home and change her outfit before going inside, even her celebrity status couldn’t save her.

The ‘Duduke crooner’ added that she had to take off her nosering and earring.

Simi said in the video, “I went to the passport office to get my passport done and when I reached the gate, they said I should go back because I am indecently dressed.

“I look myself up to down, and asked, can you see anything in my body that is indecent? He said he cannot see, but I should go back and wear something more ‘down’.”

The famous singer is set to release her first single of ths year, titled ‘Stranger.’
