Ka3na Jones, a former contestant on the reality TV show Big Brother Naija, has made a public announcement regarding her marriage to her late husband.
Through her social media platform, she addressed the false claims that she was divorced from her husband before his unfortunate death.
Ka3na clarified that she is legally and traditionally married to him, and she is now his widow.
She emphasized that she has no plans to remarry or alter her marital status by removing her husband’s name.
The mother of a child politely asked everyone to honor her statement and avoid spreading false information.

I believe it is necessary for me to clarify a misconception that has been circulating amongst the public. There are individuals who falsely claim that I was divorced from my late husband prior to his untimely passing. This is entirely untrue. I was legally and traditionally married to Mr. Jones, and I am now his widow. I have no intention of remarriage or changing my marital status by dropping my husband’s name.

In 2022, Ka3na announced that she had ended her relationship with her husband and the father of her daughter for reasons that were not disclosed.
She declared herself as single and acknowledged that deciding to end her marriage and move was a difficult choice, but one that she believed was worthwhile.
In May, the reality star experienced the loss of her husband, who passed away.
She released an official statement in which she stated that his death had left their daughter without a father and herself as a widow.
In October, she traveled to Italy to say goodbye to him by scattering his ashes in the water.
She explained that she wanted to release his spirit so it could soar freely in the heavens.
She expressed that even though she may shed tears, his memory will always shine as a guiding light, illuminating their path. She promised him that his legacy will forever live on in their hearts.
