Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie expressed disappointment on learning that junior colleague Chioma Chukwuka’s marriage had crashed.
Speaking in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, he revealed that he was shocked when he heard that Chioma Chukwka left her husband.
He went further to speak on the rate at which many Nollywood actresses have dumped their husbands.
Stating that they are quick to forget that their wedding vows are for better and for worse and always think it greener at the other side.
“If you come to our industry today, most of our girls who got married some years ago have all left their husbands. From beginning to the end, I am even shocked to learn that Chioma Chukwuka has also left her husband. Ireti Doyle, Tonto and others. You take a vow when you get married for better or for worse and not for better or for us. We always think it’s greener on the other side, that’s the same mistake we all make”.
Actress Chioma Chukwuka has reportedly parted ways with ex-husband in April.
She received applaud from netizens for keeping her divorce process private and not messy.
The mother of two has taken to her Instagram with hints that she was now a single woman as she removes her husband’s name from her I.G handle.
