Recently, the mother of the sound engineer who tragically died in the Junior Pope’s drowning incident has appeared online to express her distress about the return of her son’s body.
A video circulating on social media shows her desperately appealing to Nigerians to assist in sending her son’s body to River State for a respectful burial.
She emotionally states that without seeing her son’s body, she feels unable to carry on with her life.
Few days back, it was stated that the Governor of Akwa Ibom State had assisted in bringing back one of the bodies of the victims of the drowning incident.
Plans were made for the makeup artist to be brought back to her family for burial alongside her loved ones. The governor had also pledged a significant amount of money to help the family finish building their house.
As a result of these updates, internet users are expressing sympathy for the blind woman and urging fellow Nigerians to support her in bringing back her son’s body.
Approximately one week back, Wakadaily published an article stating that actor Junior Pope had tragically died by drowning after his return from filming in Anambra State.
It is worth stating that recently, Wakadaily reported that media personality E Money, who was once a close friend of Junior Pope, had made a commitment to support and fund the education of his children.
