In a recent update, Daniel Regha, a popular personality on Twitter, has used the Xplatform to express his opinion on a new regulation imposed by a Chinese supermarket in Abuja, Nigeria.
He strongly believes that it is unjust for Chinese supermarkets to impose restrictions on Nigerians within their own country. Here is what he shared on the Xplatform.
“A Chinese supermarket denying Nigerians entry to their premises is not insulting but ridiculous.
That is racial discrimination being done in broad daylight. The place needs to be shut down and the owners sanctioned by the federal government.”
Few hours ago, Wakadaily reported that VeryDarkMan had shared his thoughts on this situation. He stated that Nigerians who are complaining and slamming the Chinese people for this law should be arrested.
He further argued that the Chinese have the right to set boundaries in their supermarkets. He questioned how often Nigerians visit Chinese supermarkets and dine at Chinese restaurants.
While blasting Nigerians who were attempting to shut down the organization, he defended the Chinese law. A group of Nigerians residing in Abuja shared a video on social media where they expressed their experience of being denied entry into a Chinese supermarket.
The security guard explicitly informed them that he and other employees would face consequences if they allowed anyone except Chinese individuals to enter the building.
